Marle Place Wanderers Away 24 January 10 Harry lets fly with a brilliant long range curling effort from outside the box in the first half against Marle Place, an effort that was heading for the top left hand corner before the keeper somehow parried it over.
Roffey Robins Home 17 January 10
Luke strikes a fabulous long range free kick into the top left corner. This was his second of the day and the team's third. Yet another hat-trick for Luke in the 4-3 victory over Roffey.
Sovereign Saints Home 3 January 10
Hat-trick hero Luke gets off another shot in the 4-1 victory over Sovereign Saints to start 2010 with a victory and maintain the unbeaten records for the Red Team this season. A succesful start to the next decade, remaining pics in the gallery, thanks Mat!
Ratton Rangers Away (Game 1)- 13 December 2009
Thomas finally gets the goal our play deserves by slamming the ball beyond the keeper at about our 15th attempt on target against Ratton away. Unbelievably, we conceded a second goal immediately after this and had to chase the game again with Luke managing to secure a draw in what was a very one sided game. Goes to show that chances must be converted against better teams or you will be punished, but we keep our unbeaten record intact with a 2-2 draw.
The rest of the pictures I have selected below for game 1, I will post selected game 2 shortly pictures shortly. I have included below all pictures from a gallery so click on a picture to go through to the site were the pictures are hosted if you wish to download one (Mat took a few so thanks to Mat as ever for supplying superb pictures of the boys in action).
Kris shows just how alert he is when he gathers the ball. Here he is running to the edge of his box looking for the ball out. He released Luke and it resulted in a fantastic counter attack against the wind when Luke took the ball forward and played Harry who turned his defender only to see his shot parried high. Great football with a final outcome, very pleasing.
Marle Place Wanderers Home - 8 November 2009
Harry turns in celebration after hammering home the second following a superbly weighted ball from Luke in our 2-0 victory over Marle Place Wanderers, Thomas and Bailey look pleased too! Great photo Mat, really good emotions captured.
Rottingdean Village White Home - 18 October 2009
Thomas nods home the winner in our 1-0 victory over Rottingdean Village White following another corner delivered right on the money by Harry.
Patcham United Away - 26 September 2009 The 2nd goal in full, Thomas places a pass across to Luke who strikes it perfectly leaving the keeper to do the rest, collect it from the onion bag! And then Thomas gets the 3rd to wrap up a fine 3-0 win against one of the more accomplished teams in Sussex - no doubt David from Patcham will be looking for revenge at some point this season: And the rest:
Rottingdean Village Home - 20 September 2009
With a lovely finish with the outside of his foot Harry slots home the tigers 2nd goal in our 3-2 win in the first game against Rottingdean Blue.
Luke hits the post twice and both he and Thomas have efforts cleared off the line in a matter of seconds following a corner from Bailey in a tense and thrilling finale to the first game against Ratton Rangers - phew! The game ended 1-1, a fair reflection of the tremendous effort put in by both teams.
